Acrylic on wood

A mosaic of 352 pieces of wood, natural on one side and painted on the other. Created by a cabinetmaker using eight Swiss wood species, the mosaic can be used to create infinite patterns. Here are two variations: a mandrill and a macaw. Both species are naturally very colorful. They are also threatened with extinction. A third organization of these same pieces gives rise to a QR code that leads directly to the home page of this website
